Alsace, Burgundy and Champagne-Ardenne have culminated some of their favorite recipes of French delicacies, and provided them below for you to experience European gastronomy. Try a recipe tonight and test your culinary chops.

Oeufs en meurette
Brown off 150 g of little pieces of bacon, 1 clove of garlic, 2 onions and 4 shallots ( all finely chopped).
Let it melt, powder over 50 g of flour and mix.
Pour on 50 cl of red wine.
Mix well, add salt and pepper.
Leave to cook for 30 minutes.
During this time boil water with a few drops of red wine vinegar and poach 4 eggs for 4 minutes.
Drain off. Grill 4 pieces of bread on which you place the 4 eggs. Serve with sauce and eat immediately.
